New AG-DVX100BE DV Camcorder. The AG-DVX100BE has a number of key improvements making the unit easier to use, adaptable and programme production easier.

Key Features.

· 16:9 LCD Switchable Viewfinder.
· Genlock timecode for multi-camera shooting.
· Remote functions Zoom Focus and Iris
· User scene transferable files.

In the 16:9 Picture squeeze mode, the LCD screen will display a 16:9 letterbox for easier 16:9 framing. The rest of the display screen will show camera data like Exposure, Timecode etc.

The AG-DVX100BE has an improved colour reproduction with enhanced image adjustments to allow a more creative set up. These settings can be copied between two camcorders allowing easy set up on Multicamera shoots.

For situations where external remote controls are necessary, you can now control both the Exposure and Focus via many Third Party Control systems making the DVX100BE more suitable for more applications.

AG-DVX100BE remote controls are available from Manfrotto, Bebob and Varizoom.

For Multicamera shooting, the new AG-DVX100BE allows a new function Timecode Synchronization which allows two or more units to be Timecode Synchronised. Connecting two or more AG-DVX100BE units together via a DV Cable (IEEE1394) will allow synchronous time code settings. This is the first Camcorder in its class with this function, which was previously only available on much bigger camcorders.

The overall design, packaging and accessories remain unchanged apart from some cosmetic colour changes.
